  1. What was the last movie you saw? And would you recommend it? The other day I saw the sci-fi classic The Fifth Element from 1997 with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. I've seen the movie a few times before and it's one of those classics that never gets old. I can really recommend it if you haven't seen it already. It's probably available on Netflix if you want to see it.

    Movie Quotes

I really like this quote by Andy Dufresne from the movie Shawshank Redemption. As long as there is hope, there will always be sunlight. Hope is one of the most beautiful thing in this world. Life is dead without hope. Even the most content and happiest person in this world is still hoping everyday, because hope is a good thing. There are times in life where hope is misunderstood. Sometimes people used hope to escape but what they really hoping is to end life. That's when hope is not the hope that people should be thinking, because hope is a good thing, and no good thing ever dies.

    Pacific Rim Uprising

Is anyone else here waiting to see Pacific Rim Uprising? I really enjoyed the first one, but this sequel gives me mixed feelings, it sort of feels like a teen movie this time around. Hopefully, I'm wrong. Check out the trailers and see for yourself: Trailer 1 Trailer 2 The movie comes out March 23rd.

    Anime Suggestions

This blog entry is related to my last post on the Movie Club. Hey! Not everyone knows what anime is and is confused with what to watch first because of the numerous series. According to Merriam-Webster, "Anime is a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes." Anime has a lot of genre and mind you, all of these are really mindblowing. Even romance ace the cards! My go to anime sites are: 1. 9anime.to 2. kissanime.ru A list of my favorite animes: 1. Attack on Titan 2. Tokyo Ghoul 3. Kimi No Nawa (this is a movie) 4. Assasination Classroom 5. Naruto 6. One Piece 7. Fairy Tail 8. Bleach 9. Noragami 10. No Game No Life 11. Your Lie in April 12. Detective Conan And many more! If you have questions, comment below.

    Tomb Raider

Are you excited about the new reboot of Tomb Raider, starring Alicia Vikander? The new cinematic adaptation of Tomb Raider will follow Lara Croft’s origins as she seeks to discover what really happened to her missing father. In this, Lara will travel to her father's last-known location, a tomb called The Mother of Death on an island near Japan, where she discovers a plot that threatens the world. Check out these two trailers: Trailer 1 Trailer 2 (which is much better IMO) Tomb Raider will be in theaters on March 16th.
  7. I just got through with college's infamous "hell week". Kindly suggest any TV Series that can help me forget my exam results. I'm willing to try watching different genres as long as the plot is good.
  8. Share your sentiments about the last installment of the Maze Runner trilogy. Should I just read the book or watch the movie?

  10. I know I'm not the only one that has taken advantage of the MoviePass subscription. I've seen about 40 movies since I got my card back in September. All for only $9.95. Anyone else enjoying it as much as I am? I've seen so many movies that I normally wouldn't have because of this service, its definitely opened my eyes to some new movie genres. Because I only pay a little under 10 bucks a month, I'll see stuff I usually don't, like horror movies. If you don't have it, and you love going to the movies, you should definitely sign up, it is so worth it! Here's a link if you're interested in checking it out: MoviePass FYI, I don't work for them or get anything from recommending it, I just thought it would be a good suggestion in a movie club.

Anime has been a part of my childhood. It is not only for entertainment. Watching anime develop your imaginative mind and it also enhance your English and Japanese vocabulary.
